Love Island 2019: First look at NEW villa ahead of hit ITV series’ return next month
Love Island usually starts around the beginning of June on ITV2 and as the possible start date grows ever closer, fans will be eagerly waiting to hear news about the new series.
As well as discovering which singletons will be hoping to find love this summer, viewers will also be waiting on news about where the contestants will be living.
The villa has become a staple piece of the series, with the garden becoming a stomping ground for endless flirting and a few heated clashes.
Pictures released today show the villa located in Mallorca will be back, with crews seen setting up the camera’s ready to capture the drama.

The first series and second series of Love Island saw the contestants lap up the sun in a vila equipped with a built in pool in the centre of the garden.
Latter series saw the location change however, with the cast of singletons match making in a villa with an infinity pool located at the edge of the garden.
For the fifth series of the revamped classic dating show, it seems the contestants will be living it up in the same villa used in series three and four.
However, with the addition of a second house brought in to stir things up in series’ three and four, viewers will have to wait and see if there is another twist to the cast’s home for the summer.
One of the pictures show crews setting up what seems to be a new area where the young singletons could sneak away from the chaos of the house to enjoy some alone time.
Could this be the new hideaway feature brought in to allow contestants to get to know their partner a little better away from the main villa?
Recently, host of the reality series Caroline Flack, 29, caused a stir online when she seemed to tease Love Island’s imminent return.
In an Instagram story post, Caroline is seen thanking her personal trainer, Bradley Simmons, telling her 1.9 million followers: “I have just trained with Bradley Simmons and he put me through utter hell.
“Making me do weights that I should not be lifting but he says we only have three weeks before Love Island starts or for Love Island prep, so we’ve got to work hard.
“To be fair I feel more sorry for Bradley having to put up with my moaning than me having to put up with the training,” the host continued.
ITV are yet to announce an official start date for Love Island 2019, with all the possible dates purely speculative at the moment.
Caroline did admit last month filming was under way for this year’s series, teasing fans of the show the cast had already been selected.
Reports emerged yesterday from the Daily Star, behind-the-scenes pictures from the hit dating show had revealed who the first contestants set to enter the villa this year will be.
Last year, fan favourites Dani Dyer, 23, and Jack Fincham, 27, won the series after a summer of love saw the loved-up pair couple up from the very start.
However, the two Love Islander’s have split earlier this year after months of being a couple, with Jack recently appearing in the all star edition of The All New Monty.
Other contestants from the series have also gone on to find fame with Wes Nelson, 21, going on to reach the final of this year’s Dancing On Ice.
Love Island 2019 is expected to return to ITV2 in June.
