Two passengers have been kicked off a flight for refusing to listen to the safety briefing.
The ‘wealthy looking’ passengers were seated together on an Air New Zealand flight in the exit row on Tuesday morning.
The woman, who appeared ‘high maintenance’ and was carrying a Louis Vuitton bag, wanted to read her book instead listen to the flight attendant.
‘The video started playing and the flight attendant held up the card, but the woman started looking down at her book.’ a fellow passenger said.

The fellow passenger said as the flight attendant attempted to continue with the safety presentation the pair looked down at their phones.
‘A flight attendant said very patiently, ‘Can you please watch what’s happening because this is the exit row?’ but the woman put her fingers in her ears.’
The pair were eventually escorted off the plane as they were delaying take off.
A police spokeswoman said police were requested to meet one passenger at the airport on Tuesday morning, according to Stuff.
‘The passenger will receive an infringement notice under Civil Aviation Authority rules relating to the use of a cellphone,’ the spokeswoman said.
