  The German giants borrowed the wing-wizard, but he has struggled to make an impact at the Allianz Arena.

  And Bild report that a permanent move to Bayern is “unlikely”, with Perisic instead aiming to impress potential summer suitors in whatever opportunities he gets to play in the second half of the season.

  He told Gambling.com: “He did OK at Udinese and Sampdoria but ended up back in Portugal. Maybe he was homesick or didn't enjoy his time in Italy, I don't know. Perhaps he wants to try going abroad again and prove a point.
