Stacey Solomon children: Partner Joe Swash slammed for ‘my whole world’ Instagram post
Stacey Solomon, 29, and Joe Swash, 37, welcomed their first child together, with the pair also having children from previous relationships. The former EastEnders actor came under fire after he gushed over his two sons but left out the Loose Women panellist and her two children, Leighton, seven and Zachary, 11. Taking to Instagram yesterday, Joe shared a black and white snap which showed his eldest son Harry – from his previous relationship with Emma Sophocleous – cradling the newborn. In view of his 838,000 followers, he captioned the sweet snap: “In this picture is my whole world. My two boys.”
But some fans were quick to hit out at the I’m Celebrity: Extra Camp! host for leaving out his partner Stacey and her two children.
One person quizzed: “What about Stacey?”
Another person said: “What about Stacey and her children, aren’t you meant to be a family?”
While a third person added: “That’s lovely… but what about Stacey’s boys?”
However some fans were quick to rush to Joe’s defence and slammed other social media users’ comments.
A separate follower wrote: “For gods sake people get off Joe’s back, they’re his kids of course there his world. I think it’s a lovely photo .”
Another person said: “Love how he’s getting stick for this. Would you criticise Stacey for not mentioning his eldest son? Because that would be just as ludicrous. They are a lovely family who seem devoted to each other. The negativity really isn’t necessary.”
While another person fired back: “All the trolls out there leave them alone you bullies.”
It comes after the pair recently dedicated sweet tributes to each other and shared intimate snaps and videos with fans while bonding with their newest arrival.
Meanwhile, Stacey has opened up about her struggles since their bundle of joy arrived “earlier than planned”.
The TV regular shared a new photo as she cradled her son and sported a white T-shirt, which read: “Motherhood – Perfection is not required.”
In a lengthy caption, she revealed she has been through a series of emotions since giving birth and admitted to feeling guilty for not “enjoying every second”.
In view of her 1.7million followers, she captioned: “Today is a smiley day, it’s been an interesting week. But it feels like the fog is lifting and I’m coming out of the fuzz.
“I’m so grateful to have our baby boy with us and be surrounded by my incredible family – my biggest privilege.”
She later continued: “I’ve found myself spontaneously uncontrollably sobbing into my mums arms, at least twice every day.
“Then I feel guilty that I’m not ‘enjoying every second’ like everyone tells you too because it passes by so quickly (and it does, my eldest is 11 and I feel like I just blinked and that happened).”
The small-screen star went onto praise the NHS for their support during her pregnancy and after giving birth.
