Bradley Cooper: What is His Connection to Lady Gaga?

As you very likely know by now, Bradley Cooper is single.

And Lady Gaga is now also single.

Therefore, the question remains among all who follow music, movies and/or celebrity gossip — and that question is this…

… when will these superstars mingle? With each other? NAKED?!?

Cooper ended his four-year relationship with Irina Shayk last week, prompting enormous speculation over whether the actor and Lady Gaga truly are in love.

Or in lust.

Or in something at least, following co-starring roles in A Star is Born that made it appear as if the A-Listers were total and complete soulmates.

We mean, you can’t sing the way these two do in the following video unless you have romantic feelings for the person with whom you’re singing… right?

Maybe.

That seems to be the only answer available at the moment.

“He has a huge and overwhelming connection to Gaga,” an insider told People Magazine this week, adding in mysterious semi-detail:

“Whether it becomes a real love story in their lives for all the world to see is premature.”

Even if Cooper never date, and even if they really are just friends, the rumors that have been surrounding these celebrities have seemingly been enough for Shayk.

Multiple outlets have confirmed that she grew sick of the chatter and simply couldn’t remain in her relationship with Cooper any longer.

“The rumors about Bradley and Gaga having a love affair didn’t help especially with his constant travels [promoting the film],” this same source tells this same publication.

Cooper and Shayk share a two-year-old daughter named Lea De Seine.

Neither half of the now-former couple has said anything about the break-up; nor did either of them really address the Gaga talk back when it was really going strong.

A different informant, meanwhile, had previously told People that, before news of their split became public, Cooper and Shayk had “spent a lot of time apart.”

They seemed to be heading in separate directions, regardless of the all that Gaga stuff.

“[Irina is] not focused on the celebrity part, or on the fame — she just wants to protect her family,” this source explained.

“Bradley is very into work and is trying to take advantage of every career opportunity right now.”

For her part, Lady Gaga was engaged to Christian Carino while filming A Star is Born.

But that relationship is now also over, helping to fuel the speculation that she and Cooper are simply meant for each other.

Is this actually the case, however?

Only one thing may tell: Time.
