Homes Under the Hammer fans in stitches as Dion Dublin mocked for bizarre catchphrase

HOMES Under the Hammer presenter Dion Dublin has been called up on his use of a bizarre catchphrase.

Fans have been left in stitches as the property expert starred in a clip showing just how much he liked to use the particular phrase.

And just what is the former footballer's favoured set of words?

Well, if one fan's video is anything to go by, it's "Stairs going up to the bedrooms".

Viewer David Clissold, known as @discokidnap on Twitter, managed to fill over two minutes of the star saying the same sentence over and over again.

The original post has been liked over 29,000 times, with a massive 2 million views.

David captioned the video with the words: "What have you done with your bank holiday morning?

"I've spent mine putting together over two minutes of Dube inventor Dion Dublin saying "stairs going up to the bedrooms."

Dion, 52, invented a percussion instrument called The Dube in 2006.

Responding to the video, one fan wrote: "Best thing I've ever seen."

Another added: "This is my favourite thing.

"Ps. Dion must hate bungalows!”

A third commented: "I watched all 2 minutes and 16 seconds of this and legit laughed at every clip.

Before Homes Under the Hammer, Dublin had a great career as a footballer, playing for England and turning out for several clubs including Manchester United, Coventry and Aston Villa.

But in recent years he has turned his attention to property, hosting the BBC One show with Martin Roberts and Martel Maxwell.

After playing football, Dublin worked in the media as a pundit, commentator and football phone-in presenter on Sky and the BBC.

But in 2015, he became the beneficiary of a BBC Diversity Creative Talent Fund grant for training up promising future TV presenters and began presenting Homes Under the Hammer that year.
