The Oscars 2022 has kept fans impressed and entertained for the most part, but after a series of technical blunders viewers have been forced to complain.
While the event has been up to its usual impressive standard when it comes to the red carpet and the lavish award show and hilarious hosts, the technical side hasn't been quite as strong.
Viewers started to notice some minor blunders from both performances and from the hosts appearing on the stage to present the show.
After a performance of Encanto's We Don't Talk About Bruno – which had fans up in arms – viewers couldn't hold their thoughts back any longer.
Some fans spotted that the performance of We Don't Talk About Bruno seemed quiet from the performers' side of it, complaining that you could hear the audience over the microphones.
Elsewhere, others stated that the "mix" was not balanced enough in the track which "ruined" the song.
An unexpected collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion also sent viewers wild with many complaining that some of their favourite aspects of the track was skipped over entirely.
After the performance the show was hit with even more technical blunders as the show was ripped off air for UK viewers watching the streaming service on Now TV.
The first screen blunder came after Will Smith appeared to hit Chris Rock, with one fan writing: "And now my screen went all black? What's going on?"
While another said: "Twice the feed has been cut. What's going on?"
Another said: "Our broadcast cut when that happened so I didn't see it, holy crap! I only saw someone yelling!"
Taking to Twitter, viewers couldn't help but complain over their multiple issues with the awards show.
One user wrote: "Wow, they butchered We Don't Talk about Bruno. That was bad. Don't know if it was from my TV but the sound quality was bad too."
Another said: "Yo, who's doing the sound for the Oscars? Turn up the mics so we can hear the vocalists."
Others had recognised that there was a slight mishap where the microphones went particularly quiet, with one person writing: "What happened with the sound right there? Did the mic give out?"
Another said: "Anyone else having the Oscars sound going in and out on their TV? We have direct TV service?"
Although there have been a number of blunders on the show, they've been subtle, so viewers have still been able to witness the ceremony and find out who managed to take home a gong.
