Burnley next manager odds: Sam Allardyce favourite to replace sacked Sean Dyche, Solskjaer, Rooney & Benitez in the mix
SAM ALLARDYCE is favourite for the Burnley job after the shock departure of Sean Dyche.
That's according to bookmakers Betfair, who've installed the veteran manager at 10/3 favourite for the vacant position at Turf Moor.

However, there's several other contenders in contention including Nuno Espirito Santo, Wayne Rooney, Rafael Benitez and former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Dyche, who was the Premier League's longest serving manager having taken over in 2012, leaves with the club anchored in 18th position and four points from safety.
The Clarets have lost FIVE of their last SIX top-flight games with their latest defeat against Norwich being the 50-year-old's last game in charge.
Burnley still have eight matches remaining to protect their Premier League status.
But Chairman Alan Pace thought a change was needed to 'give the squad the best possible chance' of staying in the division.
He said: "Firstly, we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Sean and his staff for their achievements at the Club over the last decade.
"However, results this season have been disappointing and, while this was an incredibly difficult decision, with eight crucial games of the campaign remaining, we feel a change is needed to give the squad the best possible chance of retaining its Premier League status."

Who is favourite to replace Sean Dyche?
The process of replacing Dyche is already underway, and Allardyce is the outright favourite at 10/3.
The 67-year-old suffered his first Premier League relegation with West Brom in the 2020/2021 campaign and left The Hawthorns immediately after.
The former Bolton, Newcastle, West Ham, Sunderland, Everton and England boss said at the time that he had no plans to retire and could make a sensational return to management.
Elsewhere former Burnley defender and current Cheltenham boss Michael Duff is second favourite at 5/1.
Nuno Espirito Santo and Wayne Rooney are locked together at 12/1, while ex-Toffees chief Rafa Benitez is offered at 16/1.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Daniel Farke are both priced at 20/1, narrowly ahead of 22/1 chances Slavisa Jokanovic and Tony Pulis.
