Britains Got Talent fans fume as golden buzzer comedian has Amazon Prime Show
Britain’s Got Talent fans have been left frustrated after it was revealed that an act who got a golden buzzer on the show on Saturday, has an Amazon Prime TV show.
Comedian Axel Blake charmed the judges with his witty jokes and upbeat personality, so much so that Simon Cowell hit his golden buzzer.
The comedian stood in shock as golden confetti rained down from the ceiling and he was given a ‘golden ticket’ to the live semi-finals.
Despite his humble discussion about his career, some viewers were unhappy to discover that Axel is already a successful comedian and even has his own stand-up TV show.
His Amazon Prime show ‘Axel Blake: I’m Not Going to Lie’ is a recording of his live comedy performance at the O2 Arena in London.
Britain’s Got Talent viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts, one fumed: "Apparently that comedian has already got a stand-up show on Amazon Prime. Yet another wasted golden buzzer. It's an absolute fix. Tom Ball should've got the golden buzzer tonight. #BGT."
Another viewer commented: "so last night there was a golden buzzer for a singer with a net worth of 2 million and a song in one of the biggest movies to ever exist and tonight’s golden buzzer was an award-winning comedian who has an amazon prime show???? wtf is happening this series #BGT."
A third person penned: "I refuse to believe that the #BGT Golden Buzzers are real and spontaneous. Yesterday it was to someone who sang an actual song in Greatest Showman and has been in the music charts in the US. Tonight it's a comedian who has a stand up show on Amazon Prime…"

However, some ITV viewers were delighted that Axel received the golden buzzer after his “amazing” performance.
One ITV viewer wrote: "I do love a good comedian, Axel was pretty funny to be fair, had me laughing at every one of his jokes #BGT."
Another tweeted: "Amazing!! A first golden buzzer worthy of it. Well done Axel!! #BGT #BritainsGotTalent."
A third added: "Axel Blake has been around for at least a decade on the Black British comedy scene but not made it big. Happy he's got the #golden buzzer on #BritainsGotTalent #BGT."
