Mark Selby vs Luca Brecel: Times, TV coverage, prize money and odds
The World Snooker Championship has reached its climax, with Luca Brecel and Mark Selby the last two men standing as they prepare to battle it out in the final over two days at the Crucible.
Selby was one of the favourites coming into the tournament and he has backed that up with wins over Matt Selt, Gary Wilson, John Higgins and Mark Allen to reach the showpiece.
Not so many people were talking about Brecel, who had never won a single match at the Crucible before, but has now claimed the scalps of Ricky Walden, Mark Williams, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Si Jiahui.
The Jester from Leicester is playing in his sixth World Championship final, winning four of his previous five, while Brecel is obviously in his first.
It is a monumental task ahead of the Belgian Bullet, but having reeled off seven frames on the spin to beat O’Sullivan, and 11 on the bounce on his way to downing Si, he will believe that anything is possible.
When is the World Snooker Championship final?
