Cara Delevingne steps out with Ashley Benson after kissing video

Cara Delevingne had a special reason for confirming her relationship with Ashley Benson after more than a year of speculation.

“It’s been just about our one-year anniversary so, why not?” the model-actress told E! about her decision to share a video this week of her kissing Benson, 29, on Instagram. She also credited Pride Month and the 50th anniversary of the pivotal Stonewall riots.

Delevingne, 26, attended the TrevorLIVE Gala alongside Benson on Monday night to accept the Hero Award, and appeared to mention Benson in her speech.

“I also have another very special woman in this room to thank and you know who you are,” the “Her Smell” star said. “She’s one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought.”

“Pretty Little Liars” star Benson recorded part of Delevingne’s speech on her Instagram Stories, and captioned the clip, “Love you @caradelevingne proud of you @trevorproject.”

The couple first sparked dating rumors in August 2018 after they were spotted locking lips in London, and Benson commented under one of Delevingne’s Instagram post “mine.”
