Carrie Underwood, more A-listers shock with wrinkles in FaceApp transformations

Carrie Underwood is joining in on the FaceApp transformation trend.

The singer, 36, took to Instagram Tuesday to share a photo of what she would look like in her old age, thanks to the popular photo-altering app.

“Everybody’s doing it…,” she captioned the photo of her face with wrinkles, adding the shrugging emoji. She also tagged her husband, Mike Fisher, who is in the photo with matching wrinkles.

Followers have gotten a kick out of the photo.

Singer Trevor McNevan wrote, “Lookin’ good team! Like a fine wine!!!”

Another commenter joked, “I don’t get it. What looks different?”

Underwood isn’t the only celebrity to take part in the tech trend.

The Jonas Brothers also posted transformed photo.

“When you take a trip to the Year 3000,” they captioned the photo.

FaceApp seems all fun and games, but some have raised concerns over its privacy policy, which appear to allow the app to keep images you post in their system, The Tennessean, part of USA TODAY’s network, reports. People are also raising eyebrow’s over the home country of the app’s developer, Russia, given the political climate.
