Charlotte Dawson in agony and cant move leg after scooter accident as she flies home to UK

Charlotte Dawson said she is "in agony" and unable to move her leg as she updated fans on her condition after a horrific scooter crash in Rome.

The former Ex On The Beach star, 29, took to Instagram to share her traumatic experience with her 1.3 million followers on Wednesday night as she revealed she had been rushed to hospital.

The daughter of late comedian Les Dawson posted some shocking snaps of her bloodied and bruised face in the back of an ambulance after she hit a curb and went over her handle bars while sightseeing.

Charlotte captioned the post: "When in Rome.. I fell off a scooter today travelling around..

"I lost control of it, got scared went into the curb & fell over the handle bars.. I’m ok, I’ve been very lucky and can thankfully go home to my boy.. with lots of stitches bruises & a leg I can’t walk on properly..

"It could of been a lot different..but wow it’s been a scary horrible day for me, Matthew & my friends.. but Thankgod someone was looking down on me "

She later shared a snap with her fiancé Matt Sarsfield, saying: "Finally I got out of hospital & could go home…" before posting a clip of the couple on a flight back to the UK.

On Thursday, the mother-of-one updated followers with a video on her Instagram stories from her bed at home.

She joked she had woken up feeling like she'd been in 10 rounds with boxer Tyson Fury.

Charlotte said: 'I'm home, I just can't stop sleeping but I just want to say thank you so much for all your messages. You've all been so nice and caring.

"But yeah honesty it could have been so much worse than what it was. I'm in agony, I really am.

"My left leg I can't even move, I can't even walk on it."

She added that her ankle "is starting to go" and her "knee is not right".

"I've absolutely smacked my legs but I had to discharge myself from hospital yesterday," Charlotte said.

"Obviously they were happy for me to do it, but I had to go because I didn't want to miss this flight because I really needed to get back for Noah. I just wanted to get home and be in my own bed."

Charlotte added this meant she didn't get the results back from her scans, so she needs to go back to hospital on Friday.

"Honestly, why is there always a drama?"

She also revealed Matt and her friends weren't allowed in the ambulance with her when she was taken to hospital.

"They were just crying their eyes out. Matthew was in hysterics, he was a right mess."
