Dec Donnelly enjoys family beach day in Australia as celebs land ahead of jungle show return
Dec Donnelly is enjoying family life Down Under as he was spotted enjoying a day at the beach with his wife, Ali Astall, and their two children.
The 48 year old TV presenter is making the most of his free time before the return of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday, 19 November.
On his beach day with Ali and their children, Isla, five and Jack, one, Dec looked happy and relaxed as he frolicked on the sand, wearing a pair of navy blue swimming shorts with different-coloured turtles printed on them, as he also donned a dark blue t-shirt.
He was certainly a hands-on dad as he played with his children, whilst his wife of eight years watched on. She looked beach-ready in a pretty white bandeau dress.
Dec's longtime co-presenter Ant McPartlin landed in Australia on Saturday, 11 November, and confessed he was looking forward to seeing Dec.
Speaking at the airport, Ant said that he "can't wait for the show to begin as he said it will be "nice to be reunited" with Dec, with whom he has presented the show with since 2002, bar one year when he was temporarily replaced with Holly Willoughby.
Celebrities rumoured to be starring on this year's show have started landing Down Under ahead of the show's launch.
UK politician Nigel Farage was the first to touch down in the country, as he said he was there "to surf", whilst YouTuber Nella Rose claimed she was there "for a holiday".
This Morning's Josie Gibson wasn't any more forthcoming as she arrived into Brisbane airport, telling reporters that she's in Australia to take part in a "weight loss programme".
First Dates' Fred Sirieix didn't seem so bothered about keeping it a secret that he was going on I'm A Celebrity, as he revealed the home comforts he will miss whilst he's in the jungle.
Fred, 51, said: "I've been camping before, I love camping. But I will miss from home my bed and coffee in the morning."
Asked how he would cope with snakes and spiders he said: "I don't know really. I mean we'll see we have got a lot of big stuff in Australia."
The show is famed for its stomach-turning eating trials and Fred said: "I love frogs legs, witchetty grubs, why not?!
When asked if he would want to win any reality show he was on, Fred added: "You always want to win, this is going to be competitive y'know."
Other celebrities rumoured to be going on this year's show include Britney Spears' younger sister, Jamie-Lynn and former Made in Chelsea star, Sam Thompson.
