Holly Willoughby praised by fans as she shares candid selfie: When you look in the mirror for the first time

Holly Willoughby was praised by her fans on Friday as she shared a candid selfie.

Taking to Instagram to post the picture, the This Morning star, 40, joked it was the first time she had looked in the mirror that day.

In the picture, Holly appeared to go almost makeup-free with her signature blonde locks swept into a loose bun.

The presenter wore a white T-shirt and winked to the camera as she penned: "When you look in the mirror for the first time that day… how’s your Friday looking…" followed by a crying laughing emoji.

Holly's 7.4million followers were quick to react to the snap as they praised the star for her candid update and admitted they could relate to the post.

One person said: "Yep, a lot like yours" followed by crying laughing and heart emoji.

A different account put: "Much like yours Holly" followed by a heart emoji.

Another follower commented: "My hairs exactly the same… and why not" followed by a thumbs up emoji.

While a different person added: "This is me every morning" followed by crying laughing emojis.

It comes after Holly looked stunning in a stylish velvet suit at the launch of her first candle from her lifestyle brand, Wylde Moon, earlier this month.

The presenter announced the launch of her brand last month, which will feature an online boutique as well as inspirational beauty and lifestyle content.

Holly posed with her first product drop from the collection in a blue velvet suit and open-toed black heels – a scented candle that, according to the Wylde Moon website, is made from "a fresh aromatic blend" of "tomato leaf, geranium, sandalwood, mint and rose".

Holly's blonde hair was down in its signature waves, while she kept her accessories to a minimum, with the exception of her wedding ring.

The TV star's first product drop features two candles and a reed diffuser, with prices starting from £40 for a single wick candle and three wick candles costing £65.

Mum-of-three Holly announced the news this morning across all of her personal and the Wylde Moon socials.

Sharing an image of her hands holding the stunning white candle to her 7.1million Instagram followers, Holly simply wrote: "Coming soon… @wyldemoon"

Writing about the candle on the lifestyle brand's website, Holly says: “Ever since WYLDE MOON came into being, I knew that the very first product I wanted to develop would be a signature scented candle. Life’s just better when you light a candle.”

The candle comes under three categories of fragrance, listed as "green/fresh", "floral/green" and "amber/woody". The candle will be available on October 20th, a date that was chosen deliberately by Holly as it's the next full moon.

Explaining her connection to the full moon, Holly said: "I’ve always been fascinated with the moon, space, shooting stars and looking up. On holiday, I spend more time on the sun lounger at night than during the day. The moon is always there – like the sun – no matter where you are in the world."

She continued: "I also feel that the moon is feminine, that she’s a goddess with incredible feminine energy and cycles just like women have. For me, the moon has always been a trusted constant.”

Alongside the boutique on the Wylde Moon website, the site also has a number of different sections focusing on different aspects of self-care and spirituality.

These include 'WYLDE Energy' – a section devoted to healing crystals and meditation – and 'WYLDE Moonboard' – a collage page filled with some of Holly's favourite things.

There are also sections covering beauty, style and family, as well as a section for interviews with inspiring women, with the first interview being with Holly herself.
