I’m A Celeb starts filming: First stars jet Down Under and crew rush to finish
Shooting scenes for I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here is finally underway.
But the I'm A Celeb production team are scrambling to get the jungle in tip top shape for the stars in Springbrook National Park, New South Wales.
Unfinished rope bridges, loose materials strewn all over the place and a half-built Wild West saloon await the finishing touches from the TV team.
Yet there's only limited time left as the ITV show kicks off on November 17.
Dec Donnelly is the first celebrity to have jetted off to Australia in the company of his wife Ali Astall and baby Isla.
Soon after touching down in Oz, the presenter will waste no time getting to work on the latest series.
Not far behind him, Emily Atack joins Joel Dommett and Adam Thomas to make a beeline for the jungle ahead of their stint on the spin-off show I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp.
Ant McPartlin and his love Anne-Marie Corbett are expected to make the journey Down Under imminently where they will join Dec and his family at the Palazzo Versace hotel.
It's a big year for Ant as he makes his epic return after taking a year hiatus from the show following his drink-driving arrest.
Last year ratings were at an all-time high with 13.1million viewers tuning in to watch Holly Willoughby join Dec in fronting the show.
As the stars begin to start landing in Australia, whispers are on the grape vine about the identity of any big names appearing in the series.
Caitlyn Jenner is set to head to the I'm A Celebrity jungle after agreeing a staggering £500,000 fee.
The reality TV star, 70, will reportedly fly out to Australia for the ITV series ahead of the first episode airing on Sunday 17 November.
Caitlyn, who is dating Sophia Hutchins, 23, looks set to be the biggest signing of the year and has been lured by one of the highest ever salaries.
Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway, Coronation Street's Andrew Whyment and ex-EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa are also believed to be in the line-up.
Stormy weather could plague the reality stars on their first night in the jungle after forecasters predicted miserable weather.
One Aussie forecaster stated: "A couple of thunderstorms around in the afternoon… [at night] there will be] periods of rain and a thunderstorm."
Stars will have a bit of luxury this year as TV bosses have installed a hot tub in the jungle.
As well as the hot tub, there is another surprising feature on the set including a Wild West saloon.
However, there also appear to be some nasty surprises as there is a pond filled with black water.
