Jenelle Evans Says She's 'Looking Into Marriage Counseling,' Calls David Eason 'Really Supportive'
As the fallout over her husband continues, Jenelle says she and Eason are trying to make it work.
While they may or may not appear on "Marriage Boot Camp: Celebrity Edition," Jenelle Evans says she and husband David Eason are looking into some kind of counseling for their marriage.
Evans was fired from "Teen Mom 2" this week, after her husband, David Eason admitted to killing her dog. He had already been axed from the show after homophobic comments, but made it difficult for production by threatening to show up when his wife was filming.
After she was let go from the series, she told E! she "and David are looking into marriage counseling." Evans added, "He has totally been there since this happened with MTV. David’s been really supportive and told me just stay positive, everything will be fine."
Costar Leah Messer tweeted that she wanted "to sympathize for my former cast mate" after Evans was fired, but added "at this point I can’t. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!" Chelsea Houska’s father Randy also said her firing was "far past due."
Despite their messages, Jenelle said she wishes "nothing but the best for the franchise, and the girls and their families" and would "absolutely return" to the show if given the chance.
"I am so grateful and appreciative of the opportunity MTV has given me and my family for the last 10 years," she added. "This is not the end for me and my family, but its sad to part ways like this."
According to TMZ, Evans and Eason have been in contact with "Marriage Boot Camp," though WE tv claims they have no plans to put them on the show. One major caveat in their alleged contract says David must be "evaluated by a psychologist to determine if he’s a safety risk to Jenelle, the other cast members and the crew."
Sources also say WE tv may pull the plug on their appearance after they were "flooded with negative comments" when the casting made headlines.
