Speaking to Capital FM, JLS said: "We are so excited to be working together as a group again.

"We've always been like family, and now we feel that this is the right time for us to get back on stage and perform in front of our loyal fans."

They added: "Even though it’s been seven years, you can be sure that it’s going to be as high energy as ever."

The band, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2008, will perform a number of shows in November and December later this year.

The hit group sold over 10 million records and had five number one singles, before calling it quits in 2013.

It comes after JB Gill had dropped a massive hint that the band’s big reunion announcement was coming, to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their debut album, Outta This World.

JB told The Sun: “This year is a big year for us: our 10-year anniversary [since JLS's debut album]. We are all very much in touch, we’re still brothers.

"We met up recently, a few weeks back, and we’ve always said when the time’s right we could do something. So a reunion… never say never,"

It comes after Oritsé was found not guilty of sexual assault after a three year battle to prove his innocence.

Speaking about the 33 year old, JB said: "He is doing well. All things considered. He is trying to put the past behind him and moving forward."

Oritsé had denied the attack happened following a concert in Wolverhampton in December 2016. His tour manager Jamien Nagadhana, 32, was also found not guilty of sexual assault and assault by penetration.

The pair were accused of attacking a woman at the Ramada Park Hall Hotel, after the singer performed at Gorgeous Nightclub.

The jury retired to consider a verdict which they returned on 28 May 2019 as not guilty.
