Joaquin Phoenix embarrassed by ‘diva-like’ behaviour on Joker set

Star of the upcoming Joker film Joaquin Phoenix was embarrassed by a clip of him taking issue with an on-set cinematographer.

The clip shows Joaquin, who plays the lead in Todd Phillips' comic book-inspired film, criticising Lawrence Sher for "constant whsipering."

44 year-old Joaquin can be heard saying: "Just shut the f**k up, dude. I'm trying to find something real."

Lawrence called Joaquin "Cher" because of his "diva-like" attitude, which Joaquin didn't take kindly to at the time.

He snapped back: "It's not even an insult. Cher, really?

The actor then stands up and mutters: "I can't do this, man."

The clip was shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live during an interview with Joaquin.

He later apologised to the audience for his harsh words, saying: "Sometimes movie's get intense. You have a lot of people in a small space and you're trying to to find somehting.
