Kate McKinnon meets ‘SNL’ role Ruth Bader Ginsburg in real life

Kate McKinnon, who has impersonated Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg many times on “Saturday Night Live,” ran into the real version at the Yiddish-language “Fiddler on the Roof” at Stage 42 Tuesday.

Ginsburg has said how much she loves McKinnon’s impressions of her as a dancing, snarky judge and that “I would like to say ‘Gins-burn’ sometimes to my colleagues,” quoting “her” “SNL” catchphrase.
