Luke Combs Ties Garth Brooks For Third-Longest Reign Atop Country Albums Chart

Country star Luke Combs‘ This One’s For You has tied Garth Brooks‘ No Fences for the third-longest No. 1 reign on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart.

Combs’ debut LP This One’s for You has led the Top Country Albums chart for 41 weeks. The LP earned 22,000 equivalent album units in the week ending July 11, down 11%, according to Nielsen Music.

Since its release on June 2, 2017, This One’s for You has earned 2.3 million equivalent album units, with 499,000 in traditional album sales.

The album ties Brooks’ No Fences, which posted 41 weeks atop the chart starting in October 1990.

Shania Twain owns the record for the longest reign atop the chart with Come on Over, which sat atop for 50 weeks beginning in November 1997.

Randy Travis is in second place, as Always & Forever ruled the chart for 43 weeks starting in June 1987.
