Marnie Simpson insists she won’t have more children as she discusses pending c-section
After announcing the happy news that she and fiancé Casey Johnson are expecting their second child together, Marnie Simpson has revealed this will be her last baby.
In an exclusive video interview with OK!, the former Geordie Shore star, 29, admitted she’s ruled out having more kids as she insists that two is the perfect number for their family dynamic.
“I would not go to three,” she said. “I think you’ve got to find the balance for yourselves. We want to enjoy our lives as well. We’ve not waited too long to have kids and I feel like having two, we can give them the best life possible.”
Marnie, who is also mum to two-year-old son Rox, continued: “I feel like if I had more than two, it would be hard to give them everything I want to give them.
She also added that her children will have a “nice” two-and-a-half year age gap.
Marnie has previously spoken of her worry about carrying a child again because she suffers from a chronic bladder condition that got much worse following Rox’s birth.
Opening up about childbirth this time around, she told us: “I had such a bad birth with Rox, I have been advised to maybe opt for a c-section this time. But I still haven’t spoken to the consultant face to face, so we’re going to talk through my options.”
She added: “Obviously having a c-section, that also consists of moving the bladder, but also a natural birth, the bladder can be damaged as well. So I’ve just got to weigh up my options.
“I think [it’s going to be a c-section], but we’ll see.”

The couple announced their news in an exclusive interview and photo shoot.
"We’re so excited and super happy. It was a bit of a shock but we’re just so thrilled!" Marnie said.
"But I do think it’s different this time because we know what’s coming! The first time you genuinely think it’s going to be so easy and you’re not going to need any help.
"Now we know we’ve got the sleepless nights and a toddler to look after as well. I think it’s going to be really hard but we’re going to try to enjoy it even when there are hard moments because, when the babies are over five, we’ll miss them being so small. We want to cherish it."
