MTV Stops Filming Jenelle Evans After David Eason Kills Her Dog — See Statement
Jenelle Evans hasn’t been filmed for future ‘Teen Mom 2’ episodes since April 6, and there are ‘no plans’ to do so in the upcoming season as well.
Jenelle Evans, 27, has been removed from the Teen Mom 2 story line for the time being — and there are no plans for her return either. MTV announced its decision on May 7, just one week after her husband David Eason, 30, admitted to killing Jenelle’s French bulldog Nugget because the dog. “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of ‘Teen Mom 2’ with him since. Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season,” a spokesperson wrote in a statement to HollywoodLife.
MTV’s announcement comes after Jenelle revealed the heartbreaking death of her dog on May 1, which David took accountability for on the same day. David claimed that Nugget had snapped at his and Jenelle’s two-year-old daughter, Ensley, sharing a video of one such incident and a photo of the toddler with a red mark on her cheek (albeit no blood or bite mark). His confession sparked immediate controversy, as he posted such sentiments like, “I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face…whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s*** at all,” and “Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.”
