Amanda Owen felt compelled to address rumours Channel 5 has dropped her popular show Our Yorkshire Farm. The Yorkshire Shepherdess reassured her followers what was really going on with the beloved series.

Posting in view of her 168,000 followers, Amanda addressed the rumours.

She was quizzed about the news after she shared a look at herself on the farm with her children.

She had tweeted alongside a picture of her daughter and their pony: “Holiday week is nearly over.

“Time to take the lead, be the driving force, get back in harness, time for some schooling.

“*Not exactly what I meant*”

One follower took the opportunity to question why Channel 5 had “dropped” the show.

They penned: “Not impressed to hear that @channel5_tv has dropped the show.

“#OurYorkshireFarm is the only show worth watching imho (sic).”

However, Amanda was quick to reply and reassure the fan this was not the case.

She even provided a bit of an idea about when a future series will be coming out as well.

She penned: “They haven’t dropped it.

“We will be back with a new series later in the year.”

After the follower claimed she had made their day, she shared a kissing emoji.

The confusion may have come from the fact the series was not on air this week.

This was a special one-off situation as Channel 5 aired its new drama series, Anne Boleyn.

Amanda spoke out about this earlier this week, thanking her fans for their comments.

In view of her Twitter followers, she shared a clip of her with her cows.

She wrote: “It’s been a long time coming but finally… grass day for the cows.”

A social media user replied: “Great to see – I think like millions we missed you all on Tuesday.”

To this, Amanda penned: “Thank you. This means a lot.”
