This Morning presenters Phillip Schofield, 59, and Holly Willoughby, 40, issued a heartfelt message to their colleague of 15 years, who is leaving the network for a new venture. The ITV stars each took to their individual Instagram accounts to say goodbye.

Taking to his stories, Phillip accompanied the post with a picture of his colleague, Nana, who stood in the middle of the presenters, in view of his three million followers.

The ITV favourite explained that his former colleague was leaving to work as a teacher.

He captioned the picture: “After 15 years on the show making the chefs look good, lovely Nana is leaving to be a teacher.

“We’ll all really miss her,” followed by smiley-face emoji.

Holly also took the opportunity to offer her well wishes to her longtime colleague.

Taking to Instagram, the presenter shared her co-star’s sweet post, before she added her own message.

The mum-of-three said: “Thank you for everything Nana… we’ll miss you!”

The presenting duo has been a regular fixture on This Morning for close to two decades.

Meanwhile, Phillip recently gave a health update after viewers noticed his croaky voice on Monday’s show.

The presenter admitted that he had been feeling under the weather in recent days.

But he insisted he was completely fine and had been tested for coronavirus, before revealing what was wrong with him.

As Holly remained beside him and he remained in the studio, Phillip informed ITV viewers he had laryngitis.

When Lorraine Kelly handed over to Holly and Phil to find out what was coming up, it was noticeable that his voice wasn’t the same as usual.

But it wasn’t until the start of the show that all was explained, with viewers learning why he sounded so hoarse.

From the moment the show began, Holly made fans aware by saying: “Don’t panic, we haven’t changed his voice to protect his identity.”

Phillip chuckled, and then mouthed: “I’m fine,” as Holly asked: “What’s going on with you?”

He explained: “I have been fully tested. I feel amazingly good, but I have a touch of laryngitis.”

Holly then remarked: “So you’re just gonna sound kind of sexy actually? Sounds quite good doesn’t it!”

Phillip went on: “I just sound a little croaky today,” putting on a deeper voice before saying: “Anyway I feel fine, I’m just a bit croaky.”

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am.
