Pregnant Teen Mom 2 Star Kailyn Lowry Opens Up About Ex Chris Lopez’s Alleged Cheating: ‘It
Kailyn Lowry is dealing with some serious baby daddy drama!
The reality TV star opened up this week about what she claims is her latest betrayal by now-ex-boyfriend and baby daddy (and current baby daddy-to-be) Chris Lopez. And to hear the 27-year-old Teen Mom 2 star tell it, things sure sound less than ideal with her current pregnancy ongoing and Lopez long gone, having allegedly flown the coop in favor of his old high school girlfriend.
The drama started back on Saturday, when a Teen Mom fan account shared a photo of Chris with that very same ex-GF from high school. The young mom didn’t hesitate to respond to it at the time, writing in the comments section (below):
“They’ve been together this whole time. Nobody needs to pass this ‘tea’ along like I don’t know. I hope they can work it out this time!”
Then, the following day, another fan called out the 16 & Pregnant alum and accused her of being a bad mom to her children in a separate social media post.
Mad about the accusation and frustrated with her deadbeat 25-year-old baby daddy, Lowry lashed out, replying in the comments:
“You got this all f**king wrong. Me & him were together. He’s been lying to both of us about the other.”
Wow! Not great, Chris!
Kailyn has since stopped replying to social media comments (well, at least for now), and instead chose to speak to Us Weekly about the matter. During her talk with the outlet, the Pothead Haircare founder opened up about the apparently long history of infidelity going down around her, as she navigates her pregnancy:
“It’s hurtful. When I loved someone so hard, it was devastating to know he was capable of hurting me to the extent that he has. When someone can lie through their teeth so well … I fell for it, only to find out later my gut was right all along.”
Of course, Kailyn and Chris have long since split up, though she is still carrying his baby, and the ex-couple already shares 2-year-old Lux… less than ideal for a future co-parenting situation, to say the least.
For his part, Chris took to social media to respond to all the cheating drama and allegations, making his own argument that the controversy is all a big set-up for the show. He wrote in an IG comment on Monday:
“Idea. Stop talking bout some bs that ain’t true for ratings and drama. She gotta new man let’s move on.”
Hmmm…
FWIW, Kailyn has not confirmed she’s dating again, so not sure what that’s about… but we do know there’s a TON of drama here that just never quite seems to go away, ya know?!
