“We wanted to share these beautiful Peacock and Red Admiral butterflies as part of Big #ButterflyCount initiative taking place across the UK,” the caption reads.

The photograph was taken close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s home in Norfolk, according to Independent.
The Big Butterfly Count, launched by Butterfly Conservation, is a UK-wide survey that asks the public to count the amount of butterflies they see. The number of butterflies counted each year is used as an assessment of the health of the UK’s environment. The initiative, which is the world’s biggest survey of butterflies, began July 16 and ends this Sunday.
“@savebutterflies are encouraging us all to count these incredible creatures because not only are they beautiful creatures to be around but they are also extremely important. Butterflies are vital parts of the ecosystem as both pollinators and components of the food chain. Hopefully you can beat last year’s total, @savebutterflies 🦋,” the Instagram caption reads.
The new photo is the first of Princess Charlotte since Kensington Palace shared her portrait for her sixth birthday. The portrait, which was taken by Duchess Kate in Norfolk, featured Charlotte in a blue, floral dress with her hair down.
