Roger Waters Postpones ‘This Is Not A Drill’ Tour Until Next Year

Roger Waters has postponed his “This Is Not a Drill Tour” until 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The North American leg of his tour was originally scheduled to kick off on July 8 and conclude in October.

“The bad news is: I’ve had to postpone my tour until next year. Bummer, but if it saves one life, it’s worth it,” Waters said in a statement.

The Pink Floyd founder, who is a well-known critic of President Donald Trump and his policies, hailed a recent ruling by federal judge in Washington, D.C. that Trump’s Dakota Access Pipeline Executive order was illegal and demands an Environmental Impact Statement.

“This is a huge victory for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribes,” according to the English songwriter, singer, bassist, and composer.
