Russell Crowe Lashes Out at Report of Bad Breath and Body Odor

Calling the ‘Cinderella Man’ story ‘utter horse s**t,’ the ‘Gladiator’ star additionally slams the article that suggests director Ron Howard hired a real-life professor to double him in ‘A Beautiful Mind’.

A source told the National Enquirer his co-star Renee Zellweger refused to shoot intimate scenes with the Oscar winner, because his breath was rank and he reeked of body odour, and asked to film with a sweeter-smelling body double, but Russell has shot down the claims.

“It’s utter horse s**t,” the “Gladiator” star tweeted on Saturday (August 10), also dismissing a report in the New Yorker, which suggested director Ron Howard hired Dave Bayer, a real-life professor, to double for Crowe as celebrated mathematician John Nash in “A Beautiful Mind”.

“I wrote every equation on the blackboards for ‘A Beautiful Mind’ in real time, and Renee Zellweger did not have a body double for kissing scenes in ‘Cinderella Man’,” he stated.

Russell Crowe lashed out at report of bad breath and body odor.

“If you want less horse s**t in your life, don’t propagate it. Simple.”
