Karim was left in tears yesterday after watching an emotional family video on It Takes Two.

He was given tissues to wipe away the tears by presenter Rylan Clark-Neal.

Amy also started welling up after listening to Karim's mum, sister and nephews reveal how proud they are of Karim.

After watching the VT, Karim said: "It's been everything. It's only been now that – because we work so hard and have so much fun – it's only times when I see that where it's like, whoa. It's a lot. Sorry.

"It would mean everything [to win]. To have come this far and made my nephews proud, my mum and Amy – I've won. I couldn't be happier. These are happy tears."

In the clip, Karim's mum, Carol, confessed he had always been a "little cutie" in her eyes.

She explained: "It always brings the biggest smile to my face watching him.

"It makes my heart melt. I thought he was amazing.

"The couples' choice contemporary was very emotional. I think he's just ready to go and reach the stars now."
