Taraji P. Henson Celebrated Her 50th Birthday with a Bikini Photoshoot

Taraji P. Henson celebrated her 50th birthday in style — and by style, we mean on a boat, with a full bikini photoshoot.

Over the weekend, Henson, who turned 50 on Friday, shared a slideshow of photos of herself in a white string bikini and printed frame sunglasses, posing on a boat on the water, writing, "Go off shawty it’s ya BIRFDAY" with three lip print emojis. 

The Empire actress also wore a set of bracelets with a dangling necklace, finishing off her look with a pair of white anklets.

People reports that Mary J. Blige and radio personality Angie Martinez were among those who joined Henson's birthday boat excursion.

Despite the pandemic, it's been a big year for Henson, who launched her own haircare line, TPH by Taraji, at the beginning of 2020.

"I want everyone to have a piece of Taraji," she told InStyle about TPH in January.
