The 1975 Share ‘Frail State Of Mind’ From Forthcoming Album
The 1975 have shared a new song, called “Frail State of Mind,” the third song from the band’s upcoming album, Notes on a Conditional Form.
Notes on a Conditional Form is due out February 21, 2020 via Dirty Hit/Interscope. The band had earlier released two other singles from the album – “People” and “The 1975.”
According to lead singer and guitarist Matty Healy, “Frail State of Mind” deals with an “anxiety attack”.
“The symptoms are really noticeable. It’s about anxiety. We’ve having a global anxiety attack. The record is kind of about me and how I try and deal with that,” Healy said in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1.
“Go outside?/ Seems unlikely/ I’m sorry that I missed your call/ I watched it ring/ ‘Don’t waste their time,'” Healy sings on the track.
