The Weeknd Teases Upcoming Appearance On ‘American Dad’
The Weekend has teased his upcoming appearance on animated sitcom “American Dad!”
The “Blinding Lights” singer is set to appear on “American Dad,” which entered its 16th season this month, on May 4, in an episode called “A Starboy Is Born.”
The Weeknd on Monday, April 27 tweeted, “May 4th. A Starboy is Born.”
The Weeknd had recently shared that he had co-written an episode of “American Dad!” along with Joel Hurwitz.
He had posted a picture on Instagram of himself with Hurwitz and wrote, “Me and this guy wrote an episode of American Dad. Also gonna play myself… kinda. MAY 4th ! (Photo was taken a while ago… STAY HOME).”
Deadline reported that the episode will also feature an original song by The Weeknd.
Pop group Electric Guest tweeted, “I wrote & produced a song w @theweeknd & Joel Hurwitz. It comes out on @AmericanDadTBS next week on the 4th. I don’t have a tv but if u do, tune in. It’s a whopper, a real banger.”
