Trisha Yearwood To Release New Single Next Month

Trisha Yearwood is set to release a new single, “Every Girl in This Town,” off her upcoming album on June 6.

Yearwood posted a photo of the single’s artwork on Instagram with the caption, “Dream big. Don’t be afraid. I can’t wait to share #EveryGirl with you, we really are all in this together xoxo 6.6.2019.”

The singer told People that the “powerful” track will “set the tone” for the rest of the album, her first in more than a decade.

“Making this album reminded me of making my first album in 1991 — a freeing feeling of just getting to be creative and not worrying about anything beyond just taking care of the music, finding the right songs and having fun in the studio,” Yearwood said.

“No pressure. When I listen to the album, I hear the joy in my voice. It’s a great feeling to know you’ve done your best. Now, I float it out to the world. This is me!” she added.

She said the track will hopefully encourage fans of all ages to “dream big” and not be afraid of failure. “It’s okay to make mistakes and not be perfect,” she says.
