Presenter Zoe Ball announced she is leaving Strictly Come Dancing’s spin-off programme It Takes Two. She has presented the show, which is broadcast every weekday evening during Strictly’s run, since 2011.
The BBC Radio 2 Breakfast show host has since spoken out after it was announced that Janette Manrara will replace her on Strictly.
Appearing on tonight’s The One Show with Alex Jones and Ronan Keating, the professional dancer shared the exciting news.
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional will work alongside Rylan Clark-Neal to bring fans the latest from behind the scenes of the hit dance show.
Speaking about her new role, Janette said: “It’s a dream come true to become part of the It Takes Two team!
“Although it’s impossible to fill in the shoes of a legend like Zoe Ball, I hope to make her and all of the Strictly fans proud.
“I will miss dancing on that iconic dance floor weekly, but forever grateful to continue being a part of the Strictly Come Dancing family!”
Zoe has since addressed the news as she took to Twitter and congratulated the Latin performer on the big news.

Another said: “Going to miss you so much, Zoe. But huge congrats to Janette, I’m sure she’ll be amazing.”
