Cleaning fanatics are using plastic bags to get shower screens gleaming & it requires NO scrubbing
SINCE we discovered Mrs Hinch on Instagram, cleaning is no longer something we see as a chore – but that doesn't mean we're not always on the lookout for simple hacks that'll make our lives easier.
So you can only imagine how happy we were to discover a easy new way to get our shower screens gleaming – and it requires NO scrubbing.
Posting on the Facebook group Mums Who Clean, the Australian cleaning fan explained how uses a plastic bag to make her shower screen sparkle.
All you have to do is wear a plastic bag as a glove and use it to work in your cream cleaner – in this woman's case, she used a £1 Cif product.
She wrote: "So I was told about this hack to clean shower screens and decided to try myself, OMG!"
"Sprinkle some [Cif] onto your screens and get a plastic bag – yes you heard that right – wear it like a glove and wash your screens. It works!
"'It keeps it clean for so long! And it is so easy – no scrubbing needed and nothing else to clean it with. Try it and thank me later!"
But before you going run to clean your shower screen, the woman stressed it's important to wet it first and rinsing it properly after to avoid lingering water spots.
Although some mums were baffled by the plastic bag hack, others said they'd be trying it out ASAP.
One replied: "I have never used anything other than Cif to clean my shower – love it!"
