HOKA ONE ONE Readies Two Tonal Takes of the Kaha Low GORE-TEX
Colder weather and slippery streets will be oft-seen this winter season, and so to prepare for these inclement conditions HOKA ONE ONE has crafted its Kaha Low GORE-TEX in two neutral-focused variations. This launch arrives just behind the brand’s introduction of the CARBON X 2 which is arguably one of the brand’s highest performing runners to-date.
A chopped down version of the Kaha GTX, this silhouette keeps much of the same functional features needed for comfortable exploration including the weatherproof GORE-TEX exteriors as suggested by its namesake, the Vibram Megagrip treading, and the adjustable shoe lace system for a lockdown fit.
Save for the tiny hints of color accents, each pair sees through to color stories that are heavily dependent on the usage of neutral tones. The first option is a near all-black variation, only showing off smaller notes of contrast via the GTX labels that are located on the heels, Vibram spell out on the lateral heels and reflective HOKA ONE ONE branding on the tongues.
On the other hand, the launch sibling veers towards a more earth-toned vibe by coating its chunky uppers and midsoles alike in a “Charcoal Grey” coat, while accompanying “Green Sheen” notes touch the heel tabs, tongue branding and hiking laces.
If interested in a pair of these winter-ready kicks, you can find them available for purchase now via HOKA ONE ONE and atmos for $200 USD.
