Oh, we saw Hunter Schafer’s red Rick Owens dress at the InStyle Awards — how could we miss it? As she posed with her Euphoria costars Alexa Demie and Zendaya, who was honored at the event, it was pretty fair to say she won big in the color department. Hunter’s rouge ensemble was properly finished with a dark lip and thin ribbons that she twisted around her hands. Sure, that was an edgy touch, but not as edgy as the leather boots that grounded Hunter’s dress: square-toe, over-the-knee platforms that subtly peeked out from the ruffles on her floor-length gown when she walked.
But Hunter knew how to do them justice. After the ceremony, she posted this snap on her feed, and it’s just screaming with attitude. Hunter’s career is rooted in modeling, after all, so we’re not surprised she knelt down to strike a pose. While her Fall 2019 footwear is not yet shoppable, there are similar styles you can pick up and plenty of options that aren’t from Rick Owens, which are just as dramatic.
