A PROUD woman showed off the privacy fence she built to stop nosey neighbours peering in.

But while many commended savvy homeowner Sam on her impressive handiwork, others noticed the same problem.


In a recent post shared to TikTok (@diyhuntress), Sam explains how every time she posts her DIY deck makeover online, she's always asked the same question about the privacy wall fence system that she used.

So she decided to reveal how she achieved the finished look.

"This is called the HOF system and I found it at Home Depot," she says.

"It's literally so easy to use.

"You just cut your wood and slide it down into the posts."

The post quickly went viral, racking up a whopping 3.5 million views and several comments – but some people pointed out the same problem with the privacy fence.

"No really, you can see through the spaces. Not very private," wrote one.

A second penned: "I don’t know but your neighbours can still see through the cracks."
