I live in a van with my three dogs, people always want to know about the loo – I change it once a month

A WOMAN who lives in a beautifully converted school bus with her three dogs share snapshots of her life on the road including how she does laundry and changes the toilet.

Francesca, the free-spirited traveller, shares her journey with her 2.7 million followers on TikTok who marvel at her picture-perfect lifestyle.

The woman, who shares the space with three dogs and her partner, answered fans questions about the practicalities of living on the road.

She said: "I made this video on how our toilet works forever ago but never shared it!"

In the short clip she shows that there are two different spaces – one for "number ones" and another for "number twos".

She explained that they have a composting toilet and empty the "number ones" every two to three days while they clear about the "number twos" monthly.

She said: "The only thing that has changed is that we go back and forth between using peat moss or coco coir.

"Honestly think both work great and do the job! And yes, I am the one who handles changing the compost and emptying the pee jug."

Francesca also explained that plenty of people wanted to know how they washed their clothes.

She uploaded a video of herself heading into the laundrette where they make regular stops.

But it hasn't all just been Francesca and the open road, during the pandemic she had to stay put.

One person asked: "Obviously I understand you still physically live in the bus during covid but do you have to stay planted at one RV park or camp ground?"

The van life advocate replied: "To keep with everyone else staying home, yes, we’re basically parked I place. We only move when we absolutely have to."

In other news, people never believe what’s inside our tiny van, we spent months doing it up & it’s even got a home CINEMA.

Meanwhile, I turned a rusty old caravan at the bottom of the garden into a woodland haven, it’s like going on holiday.

Also, I’ve saved hundreds after I transformed a tatty old IKEA cabinet into a swanky new one for just £15.
