I'm a hygiene expert and you've been shaving your legs all wrong and why using hair conditioner is a big no | The Sun

WHEN it comes to shaving, many of us jump in the shower and grab the razor without so much as a second thought.

But according to one hygiene expert, if you're shaving with conditioner, then you're doing it all wrong.

Mary Futher, who is better known on social media as Madame Sweat, took to TikTok (@madamesweat) and posted a clip where she begins: "If you're shaving with hair conditioner, here's two things you should know."

First up, she says: "When air conditioners are made, they're made with thickeners in them, so they come out very, very thick, which actually clog the razor, and the razor gets clogged.

"What you do is get nicks, cuts, and razor burn."

The hygiene whizz goes on to point out that few people actually realise that hair conditionerhas a ton of fragrance in it.
