A MONEY-SAVING mom has come up with a novel way of preparing delicious lasagne.
This slow cooker recipe took only ten minutes to prepare and with minimal effort.
The reward was a tasty and budget-friendly family supper.
One fan said it "just blew my mind. Thank you for upping the slow cooker game for me.”
Duchess of Thrift (@duchessofthrift) used leftovers to create her slow pot lasagne, describing it as "cheap eats."
This TikToker uses her platform to share tips and life hacks in an age of soaring household bills.
"Cost of living hustle to save energy, waste less, save more and live well," she wrote.
In one of her posts, slow cooker lasagne was the star of the show.
“[It] comes out perfect every time and it takes about ten minutes to get ready," she said.
“I’m [using] the leftovers from the huge Bolognese I made yesterday."

She began to create her dish.
“Layer it up with a lasagne sheet, and add some bolognese, it’s a bit like doing a jigsaw and you just sort of have to break it up to fit the slow cooker.
“Add white sauce, another layer of paster, another layer of Bolognese, stir then more white sauce, sprinkle with cheese."
Once prepared, she gave instructions on timings.
“I’m gonna cook that on high for about three hours, then I'll turn it down for the next three to four hours," she said. "It will cook beautifully."
When it was ready to serve, she was delighted with it.
“Cooked in the slow cooker. Absolutely scrumptious.
“Comes out perfect with minimal effort," was her verdict.
Commenters were intrigued to try lasagne prepared in a slow cooker.
“Use the slow cooker all the time but never tried this. Thank you," said one person.
