I'm a mum-of-four and love a cheap day out – there's a splash park we love going to, and the best thing is, it's FREE | The Sun

THE summer holidays can be an expensive time for any parent, let alone a mum-of-four.

Georgia is always looking for different ideas for a cheap day out, and shared one of her top tips for places to go with her brood.

She said that the Cassiobury Splash Park in Watford is one of her favourite days out with the kids.

And the best thing of all is that it's completely free.

"This has got to be one of my favourite splash parks," she said in her video on TikTok, as she explained that she just took her younger two while the other two were at school.

"We got there bang on 10am so the pools were just filling up, the fountains had just been turned on and the cleaning had already been done.

"It's honestly just lovely here. It's so clean, which is what I love the most.

"There's umbrellas for shade, there's even a little shaded area.

"There's also cafes downstairs and upstairs."

Once they'd finished in the splash park – after spending over three hours in the water – they headed upstairs to the little cafe.

Georgia ordered a Coke for herself and got two apple juices for the kids, as well as a pizza for them to share, for £13.

"Grateful for places like this," she captioned her video.

She also revealed that while the splash park is free, it is suggested that you book a session to avoid disappointment if it's full when you turn up.

But you are able to book consecutive sessions, which Georgia did.

People in the comments were quick to weigh in, with many saying they would check the splash park out during the school holidays.

"This looks good.whats the parking like?" one wrote.

To which Georgia replied: "Free for 2 hours (max 6 hours stay) , i’ve got there at 10am on a saturday and plenty of parking but Parking on the street is not too far as well."
