I’m a pro bargain hunter and bagged £250 worth of goodies and a designer bag for just £21 – here’s how | The Sun

A CHARITY shop pro has revealed one of her best secondhand hauls yet after bagging a designer bag and three brand-new dresses, all for just £2 each.

As a professional bargain hunter, Caroline is used to scouring the rails in local preloved stores to find a deal.

But she was thrilled when she managed to bag more than £250’s worth of stuff for just £21 at the Charity Shop in aid of Parkinson’s in Norfolk.

She said: “Christ on a bike, have I got a charity shop haul for you.

“I've got about £250 worth of stuff in here for just over £20.

“It's overcast in June, Holly Willoughby's back on the TV, and I've got a haul. Everything’s right with the world.

HOT ALERT

“It is a Marc Tetro sausage dog bag. Well dachshund, however you want to say it, it's cute.

“This is in like-new condition.

“These sell on his website currently for just over £100. This cost me just over £2.”

The charity shop fan went on to share the cost breakdown of her haul, explaining that most items worked out to be just over £2 each.

She added: “If you're new to my videos, and you're unaware of the Charity Shop [in aid of] Parkinson's, they basically do things a little bit differently to how normal charity shops do.

“They don't individually price everything. What they tend to do is give you a figure at the end.

“So with everything that I've bought, and if we whittle it down to numbers, this equates to just over £2.

“Next up, this stunning aubergine-coloured evening dress from Next.

“It's got beautiful… what do we call them? Bits, it's got beautiful bits on.

“This is brand new, with the tag still on, of £60. It cost me just over £2.”

Caroline also managed to nab another brand-new dress, this time from fast-fashion brand Boohoo.

“Another brand-new-with-tags dress. This time it is from Boohoo, well Boohoo Night to be specific.

“I loved this. I like the lace at the top.

“It's quite long. It's like, I'm gonna say skin color, but then that doesn't make it sound very good, does it?

“But it's beautiful. I love this. Lovely. Just over £2."

With an RRP of £30, Caroline saved herself more than £27 on this find.

Sharing her other finds, she commented: “Another brand-new-with-tags dress. It's a Nasty Gal one this time.

“I'm in love with this one, for sure.

“It's got that kind of peasant boho look. I think it's going to be great for the summer.

“Again just over £2.”

The bargain hunter also grabbed some bargain toiletries and a board game, adding: “Brand new Jack Wills English Velvet Body Lotion.

“Who doesn't like a little bit of trivia?

“I have got a Trivial Pursuit family bitesize edition. Again, this was just over £2.

“I often get compliments on my nails. They are always false.

“I have terrible nails. These are always glue-on nails, usually from Savers or charity shops.”

However, the star of the show was

She said: “And now, the humdinger that I mentioned at the beginning of this video.

“I found this. It is an original by the artist MuckNBrass…

“What she does, she goes around charity shops and she leaves these for people to find and I found one.

“On her website, these are just shy of £30 quid.

“All that for just £21.”

Fans loved her bargain finds, with the haul gaining more than 480 likes and 7,100 views.
