I’m a relationship expert and if your boyfriend takes you on these dates for Valentine’s Day it is a HUGE red flag

MANY couples will be preparing to celebrate Valentine’s Day – but perhaps you need to pay close attention to what your partner plans.

Confidence and Mindset Coach Hattie MacAndrews has revealed that there are some date plans that could be seen as red flags.

Speaking to Fabulous, Hattie revealed the dates that could be a red flag.

So if your partner has any of the following dates planned, you may wish to be aware…

His Local Pub

Unless it happens to be your local too, trekking across London to meet him on his doorstep is incredibly un-romantic, for everyone involved.

It shows minimal effort on his behalf, but if you’re up for the pub, the least he can do is meet you in the middle.

Can I let you know?

If he’s checked you’re free, but wont commit to making a plan – this is a huge red flag.

Especially if you’re early on in the dating stage, it’s more than likely he’s using it as a way to check you’re not seeing anyone else, but doesn’t actually want to commit to spending Valentine’s day with you.

If he’s still saying he will let you know, he almost definitely won’t let you know.

Don’t get your hopes up – you’re being breadcrumbed.

OTT Dinner and Drinks

Think a jam-packed itinerary, or whistle-stop tour of your favourite bars, cocktails and restaurant.

What counts as OTT? I’ll leave that up to your discretion.

If he’s planned something way over the top, he’s either planning on proposing, or you’re being love-bombed.

So it looks like you’ll either be married or dumped by the summer.

First Date

Without wishing to be a sceptic, having your very first date on Valentine’s Day can be a huge red flag – especially if you’ve never met them, or they are from a dating app.

Even more so, wanting to ‘hang’ at yours or let him cook for you is also an indication that you should be doing a runner.

He’s probably bored, lonely and horny, and looking to fill his Monday evening by not being alone.

Lads footy

I’m not sure this really constitutes as a ‘date’, but the dating world never ceases to amaze.

If you’re being offered a night with the lads after football practice as a very weak excuse for a date, run for the hills.

This way he will claim that he wanted to spend time with you, but already had plans with the boys.

It will not get better from this point.
