Kate Middleton embraces Barbiecore pink dress at Chelsea Flower Show
Did someone say Barbiecore?
Kate Middleton stepped out in a bubblegum pink dress at Chelsea today, embracing this summer’s top style trend.
The Princess of Wales’ colour block midi is by the London-based brand, ME+EM, retailing in the sale at £315, down from the original price of £450.
Kate paired the dress with her much-loved Castaner Carina Espadrille wedges and opted for Zoraida leaf earrings, which she has worn before, costing £165.
Kate’s appearance was a surprise for crowds, unannounced in advance by the event, organised by the Royal Horticultural Society.
The mother-of-three attended to see the event’s first ever Children’s Picnic.
Kate met children from 10 schools taking part in the RHS Campaign for School Gardening, before visiting three of this year’s Show Gardens with them.
The mum-of-three first wore this dress back in May 2021 on her royal visit to Scotland for tea with Mila Sneddon. The garment features a removable belt which allows for the waist to be cinched in for a fitted look – something we know Kate likes in her wardrobe choices.
Her mum, Carole Middleton, also wore this particular pink dress to Royal Ascot last year.
The ME+EM dress has sadly sold out, but you’ll find plenty of lookalikes on the high street this summer as bubblegum pink takes over.
