Kate Middleton proudly reveals Prince Louis has hit a key milestone and is balancing at 21 months
PROUD mum Kate Middleton gushed about 21-month-old son Prince Louis yesterday saying he’s now “balancing”.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, undertook her first public engagement of 2020 with Prince William, 37, in Bradford, Yorkshire, and spoke to well-wishers about her three children.
Kate visited a grandparents-and-babies group, where the duchess took park in a sing-a-long and chatted to fans.
One of the people she met was Jo Broadbent, who cares for her six-year-old granddaughter.
Jo said: “I asked how her [Kate’s] children were.
"She said Louis had started to tell her ‘he’s balancing,’ and she said it was really nice to see him turning into a little boy from being a baby.
“She’s obviously very proud of her children.”
Prince Louis turns two in April, and Kate told a schoolkid in December as they picked out Christmas trees for a festive engagement: “You remind me of my little Louis, he keeps saying, ‘Me, me, me.’
“And he wants to come everywhere with me!”
Yesterday, Kate also revealed sweet stories about her kids while in Yorkshire, telling a group of women at the centre about her fruitless attempts to knit a scarf for George.
She said: “When I first had George I thought I’d knit him a very special jumper.
“I got halfway down this pattern, it looked so terrible I gave up.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge share Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four, and one-year-old Prince Louis, but it seems they won’t be adding to their brood.
Kate told crowds during their visit to the Khidmat Centre in Bradford that Prince William had effectively ruled out child number four.
The pair met with community leaders and made milkshakes during their visit to Yorkshire, and Kate spent time chatting with royal fan Josh Macpalce, 25.
He told the mum-of-three he had sent her congratulatory cards after each one of her children was born, and Kate revealed he was unlikely to send another.
She said: “I don’t think William wants any more.”
The Duchess of Cambridge looked beautiful during the visit in a long dark green McQueen coat, with a bargain £15.99 black and white dress underneath.
