Lady Louise looks elegant in floral dress and lilac hat

Lady Louise Windsor is one of the eldest great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II, and has a mature style to match. Channelling her mother, Sophie Duchess of Edinburgh’s style for the Coronation today, the daughter of Prince Edward looked elegant for the occasion.

Wearing a white long-sleeve gown with a high neckline and midi-hem, the 19-year-old turned heads as she arrived at Westminster Abbey.

The floral dress flattered her pale skin tone while the lilac hat highlighted the spring-style fabric.

And to top off the chic ensemble, the young royal opted for low, nude heels in a classic court style.

Clutching a white bag and wearing silver earrings, Louise looked just like her mum, Duchess Sophie.

As well as taking style tips from fellow royals, Lady Louise opted for a dress designed by a favourite of Kate, Princess of Wales, and her own mother.

The floral number is a Suzannah London Kumiko Iris Silk Dress x Rachel Levy (£1,290).

Made from 100 percent silk, the lined design draws inspiration from botanical style with its delicate lilac flower pattern.

Notable features of the dress include its ruched sleeves, waistband and elegant tie-up back which has been styled in a large bow.

The young royal was also spotted last night as she arrived at Oswald’s, an exclusive private members’ club in Mayfair with other members of the family.

Wearing a dress that was debuted by her mother back in 2015, the design by Mary Katrantzou featured a guipure lace bodice and green jacquard skirt.

With a modest knee-length hemline, the dress flattered the 19-year-old silhouette as she confidently walked in with her relatives.

But unlike Sophie, Duchess Edinburgh, her daughter paired the dark dress with nude heels and her naturally curly locks in a half-up style.
