Melania Trump style: First Lady wears Chanel for this reason as she heads to France for G7
Melania Trump is often spotted out wearing some gorgeous outfits from her wardrobe, and last night made no difference as the First Lady was pictured boarding a flight to France with her husband US president Donald Trump. The 49-year-old was pictured wearing a gorgeous black and white tweed jacket by designer Chanel. She teamed the statement jacket with a black T-shirt, a pair of J Brand white skinny jeans, which showed off her toned legs, and a pair of pointed toe ballet flats.

The flat shoes, which are from shoe designer Christian Louboutin, retail for about $575, roughly £468.
Melania accessorised her outfit with a classic white lambskin Chanel handbag, which features a silver tone metal strap.
The mum-of-one to Baron Trump, 13, could be seen holding the gorgeous purse under her arm as she left the White House late Friday night.
She kept her make up to a minimum and wore her locks down in a soft wave, with her trademark middle parting.
She was accompanying her husband of 12 years to the G7 Summit, which is being held in Biarritz, France this year.
The G7 (or Group of Seven) is an organisation made up of the world’s seven largest so-called advanced economies: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The group regards itself as “a community of values”, with freedom and human rights, democracy and the rule of law, and prosperity and sustainable development as its key principles.
Melania’s outfit choice appeared to pay homage to Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel – the fashion icon who founded her legendary fashion house in 1910.
Biarritz is a resort town on the Atlantic coast with a history to the Chanel fashion house.
In 1915, Coco Chanel opened her first atelier in Biarritz after falling in love with the region’s stylish aesthetic.
Express.co.uk recently revealed who pays for Melania’s pricey wardrobe.
Earlier this year, Melania wracked up an eye-watering fee of £12,800 on clothes for just one month.
This included a colourful designer coat which cost £1739 and a Michael Kors denim dress which cost a staggering £4400.
Melania Trump has an estimated net worth of around £39.6 million which means she could easily foot the bill for her clothes.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Melania might get a discount from certain clothing brands as they would be keen to get their designs into the public eye.
Previous First Ladies of the United States have been allowed to accept items of clothing as gifts.
In a statement in Bustle, Melania’s spokesperson confirmed she covered the cost of all her clothes herself.
