Melania Trump wears chic designer dress to step out in New York without Donald Trump

Melania Trump appeared without her husband, US President Donald Trump, 73, when stepping out in New York yesterday. The US First Lady wore a chic black dress as she promoted her “Be Best” anti-bullying initiative. During the visit, she met with students from the United Nations International School before ringing the bell to open the Exchange. Sticking with her love of designers, Melania wore a black fitted dress, thought to be from Prada, and black killer heels.

Thank you Stacey Cunningham and @NYSE for welcoming me and celebrating Be Best.

The mum-of-one posted pictures from her trip on Instagram and highlighted her “Be Best” campaign.

She wrote: “Thank you Stacey Cunningham & @NYSE for welcoming me & celebrating Be Best with such bright & uplifting students from UN International School.”

Her dress had a high neck and short cap sleeves; similar Prada designs are on sale for £2,000.

The designer dress had a fitted top which pinched her in at the waist with a thick black belt.

The dress had a pencil skirt which cut off just at the knee and boasted two large pockets.

Melania toured the floors of the New York Stock Exchange wearing a pair of black stiletto heels.

The patent shoes attracted attention with a large gold buckle across the front.

She wore her hair down and styled it into a bouncy blow-dry in a middle parting.

Opting for glamorous makeup, the First Lady wore black eyeliner and a slick of bronzer.

Last week, she wore a £640 designer dress as she welcomed the Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison.

The statement dress was in a light blue colour and had a fitted pencil skirt design.

The eye-catching number was collarless and had three quarter length puff sleeves.

Melania matched it with a pair of silver snakeskin print high heel shoes.

Recently, the First Lady opted for a casual look with a pair of white skinny jeans and a sheer navy blouse.

She ditched her signature heels to wear flat pumps as she arrived at Washington with Donald Trump.
